DBA: Exit Points

The GGSB DBA consists of three stages and has the following exit points:

  • Graduate Certificate in Management (Research)
    1. Module 1 has been satisfactorily completed but not at doctoral standard, and as a result the participant has been precluded from proceeding to Module 2; or

    2. the participant has passed Module 1 but does not wish to proceed to Module 2.

  • Graduate Diploma in Management (Research)

    1. Modules 1 and 2 have been satisfactorily completed but not at a doctoral standard, and as a result the participant has been precluded from proceeding to Module 3; or

    2. the participant has completed Modules 1 and 2 successfully but does not wish to proceed to Module 3.

  • Master of Management (Research)

    Modules 1 and 2 have been satisfactorily completed, but the completed Module 3 thesis is not deemed to be at doctoral standard.
These exit points are retrospective. Participants cannot initially register for a lower award and then transfer to a higher award; participants must register for the full DBA programme upon commencement.
