Overseas Student Health Cover

As an international student you will be required to obtain and maintain health insurance for yourself and your family (if applicable) while studying in Australia. Health insurance can be provided by obtaining an Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC). You can choose to organise an OSHC yourself or, alternatively, you can authorise AIBA/GGSB to arrange an OSHC on your behalf (you will be able to do this at the time of filling out the Application Form).

Please note that if you choose to arrange your OSHC yourself, you will be required to provide evidence of such arrangement before AIBA/GGSB issues you with an electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCoE). If you authorise AIBA/GGSB to arrange an OSHC for you, you will be required to pay an appropriate OSHC fee at the time of paying your Course Fees.

The OSHC cost will vary depending on the number of people included in the Cover and the duration of the Cover. The minimum period that an OSHC can be issued for is 12 months.
