AIBA staff will be available to assist students by providing support services in a variety of ways. Some of the services available to international students include pre-departure assistance which consist of enquiries and application processing, the issuance of Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) and advice on finding accomodation and employment in Adelaide. We also offer a 'Meet and Greet' service of airport pick-up and transfers to the student's accomodation.

AIBA also provide a 'Study Skills Seminar' that (re)introduces students to academic study protocols such as referencing, researching, writing protocols, examination preparation and general study techniques.

Language support will be made available for international students who require additional support. AIBA will assist with enrolling into an English language course (at the student’s own cost).

Education Services for Overseas Students

The Australian Government wants overseas students in Australia to have a safe, enjoyable and rewarding place to study. Australia’s laws promote quality education and consumer protection for overseas students. These laws are known as the ESOS framework and they include the Education Services for Overseas (ESOS) Act 2000 and the National Code 2007.

Please click on the below link to view the ESOS Framework document that sets out your rights and responsibilities as an international student. The document is also valuable in providing students with useful contacts.
