Visa Information
^ UpInternational students wanting to study in Adelaide must apply for a student visa which will enable them to stay in Australia for the duration of the course.
Students must be mindful that when living in a country on a student visa, they are subject to the government regulations of that country.
The process of obtaining a visas varies from country to country so please refer to the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) website for specific information about your own country at www.immi.gov.au
When submitting a student visa application, students may be required to provide the following:
- AIBA Letter of Offer
- Electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCoE)
- Official AIBA receipt showing payment of course fees and Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)
- Evidence of English language proficiency (required English language skills for a student visa vary from country to country, please check DIAC website for your countries requirements)
- Proof of financial capacity
- Medical check-up certificate by an approved doctor
- Any other relevant documents subject to the relevant Country Assessment Level criteria
Students are granted a visa subject to a number of conditions. These conditions include maintaining enrolment in a full-time registered course (if a student enrolls in less than the required full-time study load, they will be considered by DIAC in breach of their student visa conditions) as well as maintaining satisfactory academic progress.
Students must also have the financial ability to meet any costs whislt in Australia including travel, tution and living expenses. Any family members of school age that are brought with the student to Australia must attend school in Australia.
Students must also notify AIBA of their current address and any changes to their address as well as maintain a valid OSHC.
