From its early origins as a research institute, Gibaran Learning Group (GLG) has continued to maintain a clear focus on research and particularly in the fields of action research, action learning, management and work based learning. This research culture permeates all parts of the organisation where the efforts of researchers, academics, professionals, managers and staff all contribute to the creation and sharing of knowledge.

The culture of research at GLG is demonstrated by a systematic approach to the development and encouragement of research within the field of management and is comprised of three key elements:

1. Research Publications and Conferences;
2. Research Fellowship Scheme; and
3. Research Qualification Programmes.
